Mass invites for Facebook users showing interest in a business page
Oddly, Facebook in allowing a business page owner to invite people to “like” and follow a page also fails to make it easy. For the most part the page manager or administrator invites people individually who react to posts on the page.
Pegasus Ventures Michigan found a shortcut to mass invite people using a desktop computer. Use almost any browser as a mobile device, page down to, “Visitor Posts” and invite everyone who reacted to posts at once.
Check Facebook a couple of times a day to invite people to a business page
It appears this shortcut only works a couple of times a day. Several Facebook notifications prompting a page administrator or manager may not equate to shortcut’s availability anytime someone shows interest in a business page.
Pegasus Ventures Michigan finds it best to ignore the notifications and use the shortcut at the start of the day and toward the end of the day.
Skip the Facebook Apps to invite
Good luck finding a mass invite option on Apps Facebook Page Manager, for a business page, and Facebook for your personal account. Often the option to invite single people fails.
As far as we know the shortcut only works in a mobile browser. While Facebook Page and Facebook apps notify administrators Pegasus Ventures finds no provision for the mass invite option.
- Go to your Facebook page.
- At the top of your browser replace the https:// with “m.” activating the “mobile” version of your Facebook page.
- Page down, to “Visitor Posts.” This may not be smooth and may require waiting for each section to load.
- Tap on the “invite now” button that appears.
